Sikkim Dzongri Trek - Mountain Highest Peaks Hiking and Trekking Adventures

Sikkim Dzongri Trek one of the popular trek, is from Yuksom to Dzongri Goecha La has superb views of Kanchenjunga.

Dzongri winter trek located in Sikkim is the popular destination for a hike around the country for all visitors. This location is at 4,200 metres above sea level. This location is lovely with its snow-covered cotton – the White Mountains.

This journey lasts four to five days. The most hypocritical views of the whole trail are Dzongri La. There are also other places of view such as Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Kabru north, and Mt. Kumbhakarana, the most mountainous threads across the world.

Sikkim and Kalimpong Adventure Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Bagdogra and Transfer to Gangtok

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to Gangtok. The journey is approximately 124 km and takes 4-5 hours. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2 - Gangtok Sightseeing

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Gangtok. Visit Rumtek Monastery, the Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, the Government Institute of Cottage Industry, and Enchey Monastery. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Gangtok.

Day 3 - Transfer to Yuksam via Temi Tea Estate

Today, we’ll transfer you to Yuksam, which is situated at an altitude of 1,780m. The journey takes you through the scenic Temi Tea estate. You’ll have the option to stay at a hotel or camp in Yuksam.

Day 4 - Trek to Tshoka

Embark on a trek to Tshoka at an altitude of 3,005m. The trek covers a distance of 16 km and takes 6-7 hours. You will spend the night camping.

Day 5 - Trek to Dzongri

Continue your trek to Dzongri, situated at 4,030m. The day’s trek covers 9 km and takes approximately 4-5 hours. Spend the night camping.

Day 6 - Dzongri Exploration

Take the day to explore the beautiful surroundings of Dzongri. You will spend another night camping.

Day 7 - Trek to Thansing

Trek to Thansing, which is located at an altitude of 3,390m. The trek covers 6 km and takes about 3-4 hours. Spend the night camping.

Day 8 - Trek back to Tshoka

Return to Tshoka and set up camp for the night.

Day 9 - Trek back to Yuksam

Trek back to Yuksam and stay overnight at a hotel or camp.

Day 10 - Transfer to Pemayangtse via Tashiding Monastery

Transfer to Pemayangtse, visiting Tashiding Monastery along the way. The journey covers a distance of 52 km and takes 3 hours. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Pemayangtse.

Day 11 - Explore Pemayangtse and Transfer to Kalimpong

Visit Pemayangtse Monastery and Sangacholing Monastery in the morning. Later, transfer to Kalimpong, which is approximately 76 km away and takes 3 hours. Spend the night at a hotel in Kalimpong.

Day 12 - Kalimpong Sighseeing

Explore Kalimpong by visiting some flower nurseries and Durpin Monastery. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Kalimpong.

Day 13 - Departure from Bagdogra

Early in the morning, we’ll transfer you to Bagdogra Airport for your departure.

Cost Includes

All land transfers and accommodation on a twin-sharing basis.
Meals: Three meals a day while trekking in remote areas, and two meals a day (breakfast and lunch) while touring, with dinners at hotels where guests can order their own meals.
