Upon your first arrival in Nepal, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking flight into Kathmandu on a clear day. The panoramic view of snow-capped mountain peaks below, visible through the aircraft window, is like a scene from a postcard, one you’ll definitely want to capture on camera. We’ll be waiting for you at the Kathmandu airport’s exit gate and will escort you to the Manang Hotel in downtown Thamel, which we have reserved for your comfort. We recommend taking it easy on this day to acclimate to the local environment.

In Bhutan, our colleagues will be ready to welcome you at Paro airport, holding a sign with your name. After a warm reception at Paro airport, they will escort you to your designated hotel. You can take a couple of hours to rest at your hotel. In the afternoon, our local guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to explore Drugyel Dzong, a historic fortress built to defend against Tibetan attacks, Satsam Chorten Monastery in memory of the late Dilgo Khentshe Rimpoche, and Kyichyu Lhakang. You will return to your hotel before sunset.
After breakfast, your tour guide will take you to the National Museum of Bhutan. Following the museum visit, you’ll travel by private tourist coach to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. In Thimphu, you’ll visit Memorial Chortens, Nunnery Gompas, and a local handicrafts center. After the day’s excursions, you’ll be escorted to a centrally located hotel in Thimphu.
You will be guided to Punakha via Wangdi, passing through Dochu La, a high pass at 3050m that offers impressive views of Bhutan. Your visit in and around Punakha will be a memorable experience. You will spend the night in Punakha.
While traveling from Thimphu to Paro, you will visit Simkotha Dzong, the oldest Dzong in Bhutan, which is now home to a traditional school. In Paro, you will visit Kyuchu Monastery before transferring to your hotel.
You will be driven to Paro airport for your departure from Bhutan to Nepal. Upon your return to Nepal, we will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.
We have arranged an excursion to neighboring cities, Bhaktapur and Patan (Lalitpur), which were independent countries until 240 years ago. Our guide will lead you on a tour of ancient imperial palaces, villages, local industrial areas (handicraft centers, pottery centers), and Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines.
You will be driven to the airport for your departure from Nepal to your home country.
